If you're moving to Ziggyfetch from Squarespace, you can import your Squarespace products to your Ziggyfetch store.
Before you begin
Note: No manually created .csv files. Manually created .csv files won't import correctly. To successfully import products from Squarespace, follow the steps below using an Squarespace export file. You can also use our Bulk product import .csv template to import products.
Step 1 - Export your Squarespace product
- In the Home Menu, click Settings.
- Click Advanced, and then click Import / Export.
- Click Export.
- Select Products from the Export Site menu.
- Click Download. Your products will download as a products.csv file.
What imports from Squarespace
Ziggyfetch will import the following column fields from your Squarespace products exported .csv file:
- Product URL (required)
- Title (required)
- Description (required)
- Product Type
- Tags
- Categories
- Visible
- Hosted Image URLs (required)
- SKU (required)
- Option Name 1
- Option Value 1
- Option Name 2
- Option Value 2
- Option Name 3
- Option Value 3
- Price (required)
- Sale Price (required if product is on sale )
- On Sale
- Weight
- Length
- Width
- Height
- Stock (required)
Step 2 - Add additional required/Optional columns to .csv file.
To add these columns, open the exported .csv file in a spreadsheet editor, like Google Sheets, Numbers or Microsoft Excel.
- Category Id: (required) Category to which product belongs to.
- Sub Category Id: (required) Sub Category to which product belongs to.
- Animal Type Id: (Optional) Animal type the product is for.
- Free: (Optional) If this product is free, enter TRUE.
- Free Shipping: (Optional) If you providing free shipping for this product, enter TRUE. If shipping is free the product has free shipping is TRUE, the product will display as free shipping. Leave the field blank if you not providing free shipping.
- Shipping Price: (Optional) Shipping price for the product. The shipping price field only supports two decimal places, so round values to the nearest hundredth. Example: enter 10.513 as 10.51
- Free Delivery: (Optional) If you providing free delivery for this product, enter TRUE. If delivery is free the product is TRUE, the product will display as free delivery. Leave the field blank if you not providing free delivery.
- Delivery Price: (Optional) The price for delivering the product to the customer. The shipping price field only supports two decimal places, so round values to the nearest hundredth. Example: enter 10.513 as 10.51
- Delivery Radius: (Optional) Delivery radius in Miles. The delivery radius field only supports two decimal places, so round values to the nearest hundredth. Example: enter 10.513 as 10.51
Note: The following columns are required for products to be published. See list of product categories and subcategories. Find category and sub category the product belongs to. If you dont find the Category and Sub category just enter the Category Id for Other and Sub Category Id for Other.
Note: You can also specify Animal type for products. See list of Animal Types. Find and enter Animal Type Id that fits your product. If you can't find Animal Type you looking for, just leave the column blank.
Example: If you selling Cat costumes find Cat animal type id and enter it in this column.
Accept Recurring Orders
- Optional
- If you want to accept recurring orders for this product, enter TRUE . This allows customers to subscribe to this product.
- Leave the field blank if you don't want to accept recurring orders for this product.
Subscription Frequency Ids
- Optional( required if Accept Recurring Orders is TRUE )
- If you are accepting recurring orders for this product, enter subscription frequencies. See a list of Subscription Frequencies. This allows customers to select how frequency they want the subscription to be processed.
- Leave the field blank if you are not accepting recurring orders for this product.
Note: If you have more than one subscription frequency Ids for your product, separate ids with commas. See example below.
- Example: enter Ids in this format: SF73B81D2C,SFEB156C65,SF74488007, SFCF410539

Step 3 - Import your products
- In the Store Menu, click View Store Listings.
- Click Add new listing.
- Click Import from Squarespace.
- Select the .csv file you downloaded from Squarespace in Step 1.
- Click Import.
